Q: What is the MondoCon?
A: The MondoCon is the oldest and biggest “geek” event-series of Hungary. At the beginning it only included manga and anime, but later, as did the major foreign events, it has grown. Video games, e-sports, board, card and role-playing games, science fiction and fantasy, literature and films – there is no geek hobby, which would not have a place at MondoConon.
Q: Is there a cloakroom at the event?
A:Yes. The cloakroom costs 200 HUF ~ 0,70 cents (up to two pieces, e.g.: bag + jacket). In the cloakroom the backpacks and sports bags can be placed only on the floor. The bags can be given out once for free, to take out or put in something, but in this case you can not take the bag away from the desk.
Q: What kind of dining options are there at the Con?
A:There is a sushi-bar on the second floor of building K and also a buffet at Hall D.
Q:What should we take care of, when we are making a weapon as our cosplay?
A:You can only use replicas at the event; ornament weapons, wood, plastic, paper-mache or other self-made weapons are allowed. Any sharp (ready to use) shooting, cutting or stabbing weapon is strictly forbidden! Airsoft guns and sharpened ornament katana counts as a sharp weapon too!
Q:Can we bring food and drink to the Con?
A: Yes, you can. Alcoholic drinks in bottles, however, are forbidden.
Q: If I buy a ticket through the internet, how can I get it?
A: In this case, you can get the tickets on the day of the event at the entrance. To receive your ticket, you will need the 4-digit code, you received when ordered it.
Q: Where can I buy the tickets?
A: You can buy it on the spot, by the entrance, or pre-order through the Internet, and in advance from our partner stores.
Q: What type of tickets are there?
A: There is only one type, it is 3,500 HUF, and with it you will have a 2×1000 HUF coupon by the appointed desks.
Q: Where can I stay during the con?
A: The hotel partners and the current price bids are each time advertised on the website.
