Con Safety

It’s important to us that our visitors feel comfortable throughout the event, and that if any problem arises, they know who to turn to and where to find help. On this page you’ll find information related to that.

What should you do in case of a health issue, sudden illness, or accident?
Find a staff member immediately.
You can recognize staff by their blue shirts (shown in the attached photo) around the event area.
You can usually find us at: the info desk, visitor entrance, ConArena, Console area, Interactive zone, Photo wall, Presentation stage, Main stage, Luggage room, Karaoke, Arcade, and the E-sport stage.

If you see someone who isn’t feeling well, ask how you can help or call a staff member right away!

How can you prevent health problems?
During the Con, make sure you stay hydrated and eat properly!
You may bring drinks in a thermos or plastic bottle, and you can also prepare sandwiches. There are also food vendors on-site where you can buy meals.
Besides staying hydrated and eating, remember to bring your medications too!

What should you do if someone behaves inappropriately toward you?
Whether you’re a cosplayer or a civilian visitor, if anyone’s behavior toward you is disturbing, notify a staff member immediately. After assessing the situation, they will help you handle it.

In addition, “cosplay is not consent” is an important guideline for the MondoCon staff as well, so as a cosplayer you can always feel free to turn to us for help.
